Within just a few minutes of meeting with Dan it is apparent to past and potential clients that he is genuinely concerned about helping them make the best possible real estate decisions. He is an expert listener and a strong communicator, a problem solver, and a creative thinker and he knows more about metro real estate than most because he works hard at knowing more! Clients are the big winners with Dan and his extensive experience and thorough market knowledge is key in representing them in each real estate transaction.
Dan views his responsibility as a REALTOR as an advisor and counselor first, with a model motto, "When you are comfortable living in your neighborhood, your house will be a good home." Life in Colorado was good to Dan and his family and in order to stay here and enjoy it, Dan jumped off the corporate train with enthusiasm and excitement and began a meaningful career in real estate. During these 32 years as a real estate professional he has earned the respect of his clients as well as his peers.
Everything he's accomplished has been done with enthusiasm, from his swimming records growing up in Pittsburgh, his early selection to the rank of Major as a decorated Airborne Ranger in the US Army, an exciting first career in sales management with the Lincoln Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company, and in helping his three children grow to be responsible and successful young adults. Add to that: Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI)' Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) only 2% of Realtors have earned this designation Past Chairman of the Grievance Committee for Professional Standards for the local and State Real Estate Boards' Member of Who's Who in Residential Real Estate' Acknowledged in the Denver Post newspaper as 'Denver Real Estate Mover & Shaker'' Denver Business Journal's Top 50 Residential Realtors' and listed as one of the “Five Star Real Estate Agents” in the September, 2010-2016 issues of 5280 Denver Magazine.
He continues to serve on hearing panels for the Professional Standards Committee since his first year in the real estate business he has been a consistent multi-million dollar producer. (The Kentwood Company's average broker annual volume is 14 million) Dan has a strong personal goal to "give back to the community" with his commitment to youth athletic programs especially swimming and diving competitions. Although his children are no longer participants, with almost 30 years of experience, Dan's enthusiasm for the sport remains high. He is widely known throughout the state for his leadership in officiating, having served as President of the Colorado Association of Swimming Officials and for unselfishly conducting clinics for swim meet volunteers. In addition, he was involved with the PGA International Golf Tournament for over 21 years as Chairman of the Walking Scorers. This was a nationally advertised golf tournament held at Castle Pines Country Club.
Dan is a consummate business man with a no nonsense approach to succeeding on behalf of his client. He continually earns the respect of returning clients who buy and or sell and then ask him to represent their friends, family and business associates in all their real estate matters.
